So today, in the middle of this pandemic, I had an orthodontist appointment. Getting there was fine, and I wore a mask. All of the other people were wearing masks when I got there as well.
My hair was a mess when I woke up, and instead of making me take a shower, my mom told me to wear a hat. So, I did.
When I got there, the lady that was signing people in asked me a few questions, like if I had been exposed to anybody who had the coronavirus. I said no, because I haven’t. Then she asked to take my temperature.
She looked at my temperature, and was basically like, “Yeah, you have a fever.” Which is when I started freaking out. I then remembered that I was wearing a hat. I explained that that might have been the case. She told me to go stand outside and maybe that would cool down my face enough to see.
Once I came back in, my temp was just fine. It just scared me for a while, because I didn’t have my phone on me to text my dad. My lower jaw now has the tightest wire (ow), and one of the teeth on my upper jaw apparently moves unexpectedly. Other than that, I’m doing great!
Bye for now!
